Fitness
You like to get fit but don’t like gyms or heavy machines? Great – then we’re a perfect match. We’ll train at your home, outdoor, or my home studio and use small equipment like balls, bands or just your bodyweight.
For any fitness level
The variety of exercises is endless, so you’ll never get bored even if you have been exercising for a long time. If you’re a beginner: we’ll take it easier.
For any age
Exercises can be done seated on a ball or chair, lying down on a mat or standing on one foot or both and so are suitable for all ages.
For any health issue
Even if you have back problems or recently had surgery, bodyweight training can easily be adapted to suit your abilities.
Your benefits from Bodyweight Training
1. You can exercise anywhere – no gym needed
The biggest advantage of bodyweight training is that you can do it wherever you are. Outdoors in the park, when traveling in your hotel room, at home in your living space. It’s perfect for ladies working from home with little free time. You’ll never have to say “I have no time to exercise”. You can easily squeeze in a few simple exercises in between client appointments or schedule a 20 minute session during your lunchbreak.
2. You’ll never get bored
If you’re like me, you like variety in your training and you hate getting stuck in a workout rut. I’ll bring different types of equipment to our sessions depending on what is planned for the day, your goals and abilities. My home studio has mats, therabands, TRX, BOSU, stability balls, small balls, a trigger point roll and blackroll balls, Flexibar, brasils, and many more small pieces that we can have fun with and challenge your body.
3. More challenging than machines
Exercising only with your bodyweight and some small equipment requires you to activate different muscles than if you sit on a strength training machine. You have to engage your abs, keep your back straight, stand upright, not fall over when balancing on one foot and have good posture. It looks easy but there are many details you could do wrong, that’s why it’s essential to have a trainer with you (at least in the beginning) to check your form and correct any imbalances.
4. Efficient for the muscles – easy on the joints
Bodyweight exercises don’t beat up your joints as much as traditional strength training exercises do. Even if you have some health issues, you can get great benefits as the exercises can easily be modified depending on your abilities and fitness level.
5. Countless benefits
Want to have a better posture, leaner muscles, more strength in your arms and legs? Like to run faster, carry groceries easier, have more energy in the evening for your kids, be more alert at work, sleep better? Those are all possible benefits from bodyweight training.
